OCTOBER 22nd is ALL BRION'S DAY!

At the Pod, the twenty-second day of October is the day we celebrate ALL BRION'S DAY, in honor of Brion James. If you don't know who Brion James is, get the hell out of here. You suck and I totally hate you.

Chances are you don't know Brion by name, but you recognize the amazing mug handsomely collaged at left. Remind you of any replicants who happen to be touchy about their mom? That's right. Brion breathed life into countless unforgettable movie roles, before a heart attack took him from us at the too-tender age of 54. He embodied big-screen tough-guy like no one did before him, or since. He was a man as kind-hearted as he was imposing, and no matter how small his appearance in a film, you could never ignore him. Plus his name was "Brion"- and that kicks ever-loving unholy ass, just like he did.

So on the 22nd, spend all day honoring Brion by enjoying his many films. We suggest Southern Comfort, Blade Runner (duh), 48 Hrs., The Horror Show, Crimewave, and Another 48 Hrs., if you really love Brion like we do.
